Background

Food donations

While food and drink manufacturers try to make their operations as efficient as possible to prevent food waste, there are occasions where the generation of surplus food cannot be avoided. When this happens we should ensure that food can be redistributed to people in need. In addition, companies systematically produce enough food to donate to food banks.

We will soon publish our updated food donation guidelines in partnership with the European food banks organisation FEBA.
