As part of our commitment to the 4.6 million people who work in our industry, FoodDrinkEurope is a leading member of the EU Pact For Skills for the Agri-Food Ecosystem, which aims to upskill and reskill the workforce, attract more young people, and support Europe’s green and digital transitions. The EU’s goal is to have at least 60% of all adults participate in training every year by 2030. Improving the skills of the food and drink industry’s workforce will allow it to become more sustainable.
