The Spanish food and drink federation, FIAB, has launched an awareness campaign to promote healthier and active lifestyles to consumers – AlimentActivos.
FIAB has created a website that puts this initiative closer to people. The website works as a repository of scientific papers, explanatory videos directed towards consumers about specific issues such as “Are lactose free or gluten free products better?” or “Is there good and bad food?” that make science and nutrition understandable to citizens.
During the COVID pandemic, the content of the repository was focused on how to identify and counter food misinformation and promoting healthy habits at home.
