FIPA integrates Digital Hub

Published: 10/02/2021

The Portuguese food and drink federation, FIPA, is an active member of the consortium of 11 organisations that recently submitted an application to the Digital Innovation Hub Network – under the responsibility of Portugal Digital, Directorate-General for Economic Activities, IAPMEI and ANI – for the creation of the FARM2FORK_Digital Innovation Hub (Farm2Fork_DIH).

This consortium aims to be an innovation ecosystem for the Portuguese agricultural and agrifood sectors to develop, test and demonstrate solutions based on advanced digital technology.

The project aims to apply solutions in a real business environment with effective impacts on the efficiency, productivity and value of the entire productive chain – from agricultural production, to the agri-food industry and distribution.

Among the entities that submitted this application together are CAP, APED, COTEC, PortugalFoods, Colab4Food, ISEL, AROMNI, INL, Beta-i and AgrogrinTech, in partnership with Portugal Ventures through the Ignition Partners program.
