In Flanders, the Belgian food and drink industry association (FEVIA) has participated in a regional project called JobfitKMO. The project, which was rolled out from 2012 to 2014, provided guidance to food companies, especially SMEs on how to implement a healthier lifestyle at the workplace.
In total 21 companies participated in the pilot project. The experiences of these companies have been evaluated and translated into practical tools available online for all companies in Flanders. With these tools, SMEs are able to set up an action plan to implement a healthier lifestyle in the workplace.
