In 2018 the Swedish Food Federation entered as partner in a three-year project that will build a cross-sectional knowledge centre for food allergy. Other partners in the project are academy (Karolinska Institute) and a patient organisation (Swedish Astma and Allergy Association). The project is funded by the government. The centre will mainly pull together and convey existing knowledge and information but it will also initiate creation of new knowledge about food products, diagnostics and information technology that can help people with food allergy to a better quality of life.
