FoodDrinkEurope is pleased to announce the election of Pablo Perversi, Europe Zone President at Danone, as its new President.
Mr. Perversi was elected by FoodDrinkEurope’s Board of Directors, which convened on Thursday, 13 November. He takes over from Henrik Samuelson, former Paulig SVP Consumer Brands, who held the position of President at FoodDrinkEurope this past year.
Mr. Perversi said he was honoured to be taking over the presidency and laid out his hopes for the organisation of the European food and drink industry for the coming years:

This sector is deeply rooted in tradition and diversity, yet stands at the forefront of sustainability, health, and resilience. Our commitment is to unite all voices — large and small — around a common agenda that strengthens our impact. Together, we can build a future-ready food system that serves people and planet.”
FoodDrinkEurope’s Director General, Dirk Jacobs, congratulated Mr. Perversi and thanked Mr. Samuelson for his support in past year: “I thank Henrik Samuelson for his support and guidance through the first year of the new EU legislative term. I look forward to working with our new President, Pablo Perversi, as we work to shape a resilient and competitive food and drink industry here in Europe.”
