FoodDrinkEurope guidelines: food allergen management in the supply chain

These guidelines are directed to FoodDrinkEurope members and other actors in the food supply chain.

These guidelines contain recommendations and links to various documents (and associated tools) on food allergen management, which are useful to meet the best practices described in the Commission Notice, especially in these times of increased supply chain disruption.

With this paper, FoodDrinkEurope aims to support its members and stakeholders in implementing best practice food allergen management including the provision of information throughout the supply chain, in order to ensure that risk management measures, including labelling, are appropriately applied to assure consumer safety and product compliance.
