FoodDrinkEurope supports the fast-tracking of the adoption procedure of the longer transition period for both the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D) as outlined in the Commission’s omnibus package.
A fast adoption procedure on timing will provide greater legal certainty for companies.
Certainty and clarity are urgently needed.
