Produced in Rotselaar, the first yogurt pot made from 30% recycled plastic and recyclable plastic is now available in Belgium.
This latest innovation: the Light & Free Fruit jar, produced in Rotselaar, made from PET and now contains 30% recycled plastic (rPET).
The Belgian plant in Rotselaar is one of Danone’s first in Europe to switch one of its production lines from PS (a hard and brittle plastic) to PET (a plastic that can be recycled in a closed circuit).
The factory recently won the title of Factory of the Future, a prize awarded by AGORIA and Sirris to production sites that meet high standards in terms of respect for the environment, innovation and employee-centred approach.
