Food and drink products should be consumed responsibly as part of healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyles. The food and drink industry supports actions – often led by governments and other parties – to promote balanced diets as part of healthy, active lifestyle with consumers of all age groups and origins.
Much of this work is done in partnership with public authorities, public health professionals and other stakeholders – at the global, national, regional and community level. Many FoodDrinkEurope members also offer health-in-the-workplace programmes to help improve the health and wellbeing of their employees and their families.
