Unilever: promoting healthier living with smaller portion sizes

Unilever has been helping consumers understand what a balanced portion looks like, by providing smaller portion options of regular-size products.

Research shows that one way to promote healthier eating behaviours is to offer smaller portions of foods to decrease total calorie intake, while still providing tasty products.

Unilever’s Mini Magnum for instance, is available in 48 out of 53 Magnum countries, with most retailers offering standard size and minis, enabling consumers to treat themselves, with fewer calories.

In 2021, Unilever introduced new smaller sized snacking range of Cornetto Miniature, Cornetto Tips, Magnum Bites, Wall’s Mini Bites and Mini Magnum Vegan ice creams in the UK. The company also brought Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy Mini Cups to Europe.
